PROJECT
United Christian Academy in Lakeville, MN is an extensive project which will provide 2,000+ children from grades pre-K-12 with a quality, spiritually-based education. The site is set to feature a three-story school structure complete with a connected gymnasium and performing arts center, multiple sport facilities such as football, soccer, and baseball fields, a detached preschool/day care center, and a future neuroscience institute and retreat center. This project will provide children with educational opportunities unlike any other, made possible through the architecture of the structures that they will inhabit. The building will be designed to allow ample natural light to enter into the classrooms and other interior spaces, invigorating students by getting them ready to learn. It will encourage frequent interaction between children by providing spaces designated for that process, such as the main lobby, cafeteria, library, and various other seating areas. It will also be designed and constructed with the highest safety and security standards to ensure children are able to learn and grow in a safe setting.
This project will grant United Christian Academy a new, modern facility to further cultivate a deep and meaningful educational experience, engage students by utilizing immersive and hands-on learning techniques, and equip children for the future. SRa is honored to partner with such a wonderful organization to ensure high-quality education is available to as many children as possible.
