FUSION AE partnered with Studio Movie Grill on multiple high-profile projects, including the Bakersfield, CA remodel and a ground-up location at the Margaritaville Resort in Florida. The Bakersfield site, a 40,000 square foot remodel, marked the debut of SMG’s latest prototype design, featuring 10–12 luxury auditoriums, an open-air bar, modern lounge, QSC sound with NEC laser projector systems, and auto luxury recliners with integrated tabletops, cup holders, and service call buttons.

FUSION AE provided full-scope services for the Bakersfield location, including architecture, interior design, MEP, structural engineering, program management, and construction administration. Our team delivered upgraded lighting, modern finishes, and carefully planned systems to enhance both guest comfort and operational efficiency. We brought the same level of dedication to the Margaritaville Sunset Walk project, where the dine-in theater features 12 auditoriums, a full-service bar, and a vibrant outdoor patio.
